You have obeyed the gospel and have entered into a relationship with God through Christ.

Now, if God asked you why He should let you into His heaven, you can answer: because I put my trust in what your Son, Jesus did for me on the cross.  He has paid the price for my sin with His life, and has forgiven me.
We have an assurance that gives us a peace and hope that when we die, we will be raised to live forever.  This is called “eternal security.  It is not “might have” or “will have” but “has” everlasting life. It is a present tense verb that means you possess it right now.  This is the promise of God and Christ Jesus who cannot lie!
Jesus said, 'He that believes in Me has everlasting life.'
