Leadership
Pastor
Sean McCormack |
Pastor Sean McCormack brings a wealth of ministry, leadership, and life experience to our church family. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Central Baptist and has faithfully served congregations ranging in size from 15 to more than 550 members. Throughout his ministry, he has successfully led both multi-staff ministry teams and large groups of volunteers, helping churches grow in faith, service, and community impact.
In addition to his pastoral experience, Pastor Sean has a professional background in education and law enforcement, which has equipped him with a unique perspective for teaching, leadership, and pastoral care. He currently serves as Chaplain at the Boonville Correctional Facility, where he preaches, teaches, and provides counseling to those in need of spiritual guidance and support. Pastor Sean has previously served as Senior Pastor of the International Christian Church of Karachi, Pakistan, and as Pastor of Winchester Christian Church in Winchester, KS. He and his wife, Marylou, were married in 2020 and share a passion for serving Christ and encouraging others in their walk of faith. We are excited to welcome Pastor Sean and Marylou as they begin this new chapter of ministry with our church family in October. |

Children's Director
Bill Gunter |
Bill serves as the Children’s Director and leader of the HFC Kids ministry. He is known in Awana circles as Commander Bill from his website of the same name and he founded Small Church Kidmin to help provide resources, support, and encouragement to those serving in children’s ministry in small churches. He has a Bachelor's of Science in Bible from Valley Forge Christian College and has served in children’s ministry for over 30 years. His experience has allowed him to teach at several Awana conferences and other national children’s ministry conferences.
