Pastor Chuck Cruise
answered God's call to ministry in 2001. Under
the guidance of his Senior Pastor, he became involved
in ministry at the local church and then began
his search for a seminary to prepare for ministry.
In the fall of 2002,
Chuck began attending The Southern Baptist Theological
Seminary, Louisville, Kentucky, where he graduated
with a Master of Divinity in May of 2005.
Chuck married his
wife Laura in June 1993 and they have two lovely
daughters (Jessica and Tara). Chuck has served
as interim pastor at Eagle Heights Baptist Church
in Shepherdsville, Kentucky where Laura also served
as the Children's Ministry Director. Chuck began
serving at Eagle Heights Baptist as a Church Counselor
in January 2003. He Biblically counseled people
from the church and community in a wide variety
of problems, including depression, grief, self-image,
sexual addictions, parenting, and vocational direction.
He has attended annual conventions of the American
Association of Christian Counselors and has authored
self-help pamphlets.
Pastor Chuck Cruise
is following God's leading to establish this fellowship
of believers in the Hanover region of Southern
Pennsylvania. He invites you to join us as we
build this fellowship in Southern PA.
MINISTRY
PHILOSOPHY
- Centrality of
the Bible - expository preaching, Biblical
counseling
- Sovereignty of
God - worship and teaching that magnifies
God and minimizes us
- Strong families
- achieving Biblical roles, praying and reading
the Bible together
- Discipleship
- growing the Kingdom qualitatively through
daily devotions, minister-led Bible study, involvement
in lay ministry and short-term missions, and
achieving Kingdom-centered purpose
- Evangelism -
growing the Kingdom quantitatively through
personal evangelism, evangelistic sermons, and
support for missions
