Eric
Warner has been involved in ministry most of his life,
first in the area of music and then branching out into
technology and communications. Eric grew up in a Christian
family and accepted Jesus as his Savior at the age of
five. He has a passion for using all of today’s
forms of communication to assist the church in spreading
the Gospel.
Eric and his wife Denise
have been married for almost twenty years and they have
one daughter, Stephanie. Denise is an active member of
the HFC praise team and loves to help lead the congregation
in worship. Stephanie is also involved in ministry at
HFC, helping in children’s ministry and with PowerPoint.
Eric and Denise served together
in music and media at Northwest Baptist Church from 1991-98
(working frequently with Bill Gunter and Shelba Uhrin).
In 1999 they moved to Fort Worth, TX and Eric began attending
Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. In the summer
of 2001 Eric stumbled across an opening at the First
Evangelical Free Church in Fullerton, CA and in August
he joined the staff there as the Director of Technical
Ministries. While there, he led a team of paid and volunteer
professionals in audio, video, and lighting, mentoring
them both technically and spiritually.
In the spring of 2004 Eric
and Denise felt called to move back to Pennsylvania to
be closer to their extended family and settled in Hanover,
the town where they both grew up. In May 2005 Eric and
Denise discovered the amazing things that God was doing
at Hanover Fellowship Church and immediately knew that
God was calling them to be part of this work.
